TICKET RETURN

  • Ticket returns can be made <b>up to 20 minutes before train departure.</b>
  • Cancellation <b>involves deduction of</b> fee charged by the Carrier and PolishTrains website.
  • Refunds are processed within 3 business days

Domestic ticket (PKP Intercity)

  • Ticket returns can be made up to 20 minutes before train departure.
  • Cancellation of a domestic ticket involves deduction of a fee charged by the Carrier (in the amount of 15% of the ticket price) and a fee charged by the PolishTrains website.
  • The amount due to the User for the returned ticket shall be sent through the same channel by which he/she made the payment for the ticket, within 3 days.
  • It is not possible to return a ticket that has been inspected by a ticket inspector. Refunds can only be made by way of complaint.
  • After the departure date of the train ticket refund is possible only by way of complaint. The terms of the complaint depend on the rules of the respective Carrier. In order to positively handle a complaint

International ticket (PKP Intercity)

  • Ticket refunds can be made up to 30 minutes before train departure.
  • The cancellation of a foreign ticket involves the deduction of a fee charged by the Carrier (in the amount of 10% of the ticket price if the ticket is returned no later than one day before the train departure or 50% if the ticket is returned on the day of the train departure) and a fee charged by the PolishTrains website.
  • The amount due to the User for the returned ticket shall be sent through the same channel by which he/she made the payment for the ticket, within 3 days.
  • After the departure date of the train ticket refund is possible only by way of complaint. The terms of the complaint depend on the rules of the respective Carrier. In order to positively handle a complaint, it is necessary to obtain a certification that the ticket has not been used, which is issued at the railroad ticket office no later than the date and time of validity of the ticket or a document issued by the ticket inspector indicating the reason for non-use.
  • Tickets purchased at the Super Promo International fare are not refundable.

Regional and foreign tickets

  • Tickets can be returned before the departure date. The time for cancellation depends on the selected Carrier's fare.
  • For Wielkopolska Railways, refunds can be made no later than 23:59 on the day before the ticket begins validity.
  • Cancellation of a regional or foreign ticket involves a deduction of a fee charged by the Carrier (the amount depends on the type of ticket, fare and Carrier) and a fee charged by the PolishTrains website.
  • The amount due to the User for the returned ticket shall be sent through the same channel by which he/she made the payment for the ticket, within 3 days.
  • After the departure date of the train ticket refund is possible only by way of complaint. The terms of the complaint depend on the rules of the particular Carrier.

TICKET EXCHANGE

  • Ticket exchanges can be made <b>up to 30 minutes before train departure.</b>
  • <b>Exchanges can be made</b> only within such parameters as: date, time, type of reduced fare (size of reduced fare), passenger's name.
  • The new ticket must not differ in terms of: the number of persons and stations.

Domestic ticket (PKP Intercity)

  • Exchanges can be made up to 30 minutes before train departure.
  • Exchanges can be made depending on the connection within such parameters as date, time, type of discount (size of discount), passenger's name.
  • The new ticket must not differ in terms of: the number of persons and stations.
  • If the price of the new ticket is higher than the price of the exchanged ticket, the actual exchange will take place only after a surcharge has been made and provided that the surcharge has been made at least 30 minutes before the departure of the train to which the exchanged ticket relates. A link to the surcharge will be sent after completing the form below and correctly confirming the exchange.
  • If the price of the new ticket is lower, the difference in the price of the tickets will be refunded to the account or card used to make the payment.

International ticket (PKP Intercity)

  • Ticket replacement can be done no later than the day before the departure of the train.
  • Exchanges can be made depending on the connection within such parameters as date, time, assigned seat, passenger's name.
  • The new ticket must not differ in the number of persons and stations.
  • If the price of the new ticket is higher than the price of the ticket being exchanged, the actual exchange will take place only after a surcharge has been made and provided that the surcharge has been made at least one day before the departure of the train to which the exchanged ticket relates. A link to the surcharge will be sent after completing the form below and correctly confirming the exchange.
  • If the price of the new ticket is lower, the difference in the price of the tickets will be refunded to the account or card used to make the payment.
  • Tickets purchased at the Super Promo International fare are not exchangeable.

If you bought your ticket through a consultant, you can exchange or return it by phone or email every day between 7:00 and 23:00. For trips outside those hours, contact us the day before.
